What the audio cutter does

How long can the file be?

Does the quality suffer?

Can I cut a piece out of the middle?

Is this an audio trimmer or clipper as well?
Yes. Trimming means cutting at both ends, and the "Trim silence" button does it in one click by finding the first and the last sound. Clipping a piece out of the middle is the same cut with "Remove this section" selected: the two sides are joined.
Can I crop audio to an exact length?
Type the start and end times into the two fields. WAV and M4A cuts are exact to the sample; MP3 cuts land on the nearest frame, about 26 milliseconds. The output keeps the original sample rate and bit depth.
